Musica Entering Heaven Alive di JacK White, l'album debutta in classifica

Entering Heaven Alive, il nuovo album di Jack White debutta nella classifica di Billboard 200 in nona posizione. Entering Heaven Alive è il suo quinto album in studio pubblicato il 22 luglio 2022 su etichetta Third Man Records.

Alla fine del 2021, Jack White aveva annunciato due progetti discografici da solista in uscita quest'anno: Fear of the Dawn, espressione della sua anima rock, ed Entering Heaven Alive, album di matrice pop e folk.

Tra i singoli del nuovo album, spicca Love Is Selfish, riflessione sulla natura prepotente dell'amore: "Love is such a selfish thing / It's always crying, "Me, me, me" / And it's always trying to mess up all my plans / And I work real hard to make you understand / Yeah, I try my best to help you understand / I've been tryin' over the years / To try and overcome these fears / But nothing I come up with proves I can / And I work real hard to make you understand / Yeah, I try my best to help you understand".

Testo romantico e sonorità che ricordano i Beatles, il brano Help Me Along: "And I'm wanting to show you / That I'm willing to share / And I'm going to love you, everywhere / If you need help and your hand is empty / 
I'll give you my help by holding your hand / And I'll need you too, I just need you to let me / Show you my love in the palm of your hand".

Artista chiave del revival del garage rock degli anni 2000, White si è aggiudicato 12 Grammy Awards. Rolling Stone lo ha classificato al numero 70 nella lista dei "100 più grandi chitarristi di tutti i tempi" stilata nel 2010.
