When They See Us è la  serie tv in quattro parti di Ava DuVernay basata sul caso Central Park Five:  cinque adolescenti di Harlem - Antron McCray (Caleel Harris / Jovan Adepo), Kevin Richardson (Asante Blackk / Justin Cunningham), Yusef Salaam (Ethan Herisse / Chris Chalk ), Raymond Santana (Marchese Rodriguez / Freddy Miyares) e Korey Wise (Jharrel Jerome) sono  accusati di aver violentato una donna bianca nel 1989 e sono stati rilasciati nel 2014.
