Stanotte si sono svolti a Los Angeles i Grammy Awards

I Grammy Awards giunti alla cinquantacinquesima edizione si sono tenuti stanotte a Los Angeles, premiando i migliori prodotti dell’industria musicale. A trionfare sono stati i The Black Keys, che hanno ottenuto il premio come miglior canzone rock e performance per “Loney Boy”, nonché per il miglior album “El Camino”. L’album dell’anno è quello dei Mumford and Sons, “Babel”, mentre il Record of the Year è Gotye feat. Kimbra per “Somebody That I Used to Know”. Il miglior artista è Fun. Una delle artisti esordienti è Carrie Underwood, premiata come miglior interpretazione femminile e miglior canzone countru con “Blown Away”. La Underwood, classe 1983 ha partecipato alle selezioni della quarta edizione di American Idol del 2005: è giunta in finale, senza mai essere giunta in ballottaggio ed a battere il rocker Bo Bice.
